A map I did some time ago is in the current issue of CREA Traveller. A tiny one, but I love the way it looks like a miniature world!
クレアトラベラー 夏号、伊勢半島の地図です。大人気のお伊勢参りは、その周辺も巡ってこそご利益があるんですよ！ということらしいです。小さい地図ですが、このサイズゆえに何となくかわいらしく見えて得した気分。

Things have been quiet for long here as I have been a bit overwhelmed by numerous projects. I hope later this month will be better!
I did a quick drawing for one of my lovely agent, who’s just left the position today. I wanted to include a bike as she loves it… but don’t ask me why it has to be owl… even I have no idea. In the end I decided to photoshop the colours so it’s got strange zigzags, but I hope it’s an acceptable level. Thank you very much, you will be missed.

I’ve just seen Kana Kitamura’s exhibition in Sangenjaya. I always forget my camera when I really need it, and I did today as usual! so here is a postcard I managed to get from the gallery. Her paintings are generally so huge and have got delicate layers and nuances of colour which I’m always so drawn into. Her portfolio can be seen here.

A book cover for Liz Moore’s novel, “Heft”. The story is set in Brooklyn, New York, and in autumn-winter season, hence this colour. Could be a bit confusing if you are having spring now! It was a design renewal and this version resulted in a descriptive approach.

Liz Mooreの”Heft”という小説のカバーを制作しました。今回はデザインのリニューアルで、出版元が変わるたびに違うデザインを採用したりするので、同 じ本のカバーに複数のバージョンがあります。今回はブルックリン特有のストーンビルディングと登場人物を入れて…というのが必須条件で、描写的なアプ ローチになりました。一応日本のAmazonからも購入可能です。
