Some of the postcards I received from a photo gallery, which used to be in Akasaka, Tokyo.
My uni was within a walking distance from that gallery and I visited there quite often. They were showing photos of up-and-coming photographers and also those of very famous ones such as Taizo Ichinose, Robert Capa, Ansel Adams, etc. I really loved their choice of photographers, and the nice thing is that they charged little money for such great exhibitions. I wasn’t really aware at that time, but it was a really amazing place. (photos by, clockwise from top left, Shimpachi Kinpara, Takashi Yonezu, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jock Sturges.)
