Map again. Maybe it’s time to title myself a map maker… anyway, it’s in Croissant magazine. I have drawn small maps of three different areas in Kyoto, showing hidden, beautiful streets to stroll (Above is one example). Super quick work, but I enjoyed paint and brushes, simple colours, and Japanese lettering.
昨日発売のクロワッサン。巻頭の京都特集に3つほど小さなマップを描きました。ちりめん山椒とか、口から仏像が出ている空也上人像を描くとか悩みどころも色々ありましたが、旅したつもりで楽しかったです！

A small map for Brides (US). It’s used for a monthly feature suggesting various wedding locations, and this month they picked New Orleans. I have been there a long time ago and it was a very interesting place with French influence, jazz, and special food.

アメリカのブライダル雑誌に小さな地図を作りました。挙式場所としてニューオリンズを紹介する特集です。ニューオリンズにはかなり前に一度行ったことがありますが、南部独特の雰囲気がとても印象的な場所でした！

Some more maps…, but thank god I do love maps! I made two maps of Korea towns in Tokyo, which can be seen in the current issue of FRaU. A lot of nice Korean food restaurants/shops in there!
6月号のFRaUで東京のコリアンタウン特集の地図を描きました！赤坂と新大久保です。今回はちょっぴり色の制限があったのですが、活気があるコリアンタウンぽさが出てるといいなと思います。

今週末の Telegraph（イギリス）に地図描きました。自分ですぐ買って確認できないので、友達が写真を送ってくれました。思えば、一番最初にイラストの仕事をもらったのもTelegraghで、同じクルーズ会社の広告記事、そして地図、でした。なんだか原点に戻ってきた感じ…？

A Paris gourmet map! It’s in the latest issue of CREA Traveller!

昨日発売のクレア・トラベラー冬号に「パリのおいしいものマップ」を描きました！今回の号はどのページも美味しそうな写真ばっかりで、目が回りそう〜

Yes, a map again! This is a Wallonia (in Belgium) map for the Telegraph.

テレグラフ紙（イギリス）にベルギーの地図つくりました。はい、地図ばっかとか言わないでくださいね（笑）地図好きなんです！

…And the second map is: Toscana, Italy, from the same magazine, CREA Traveller.

I haven’t yet seen the third map myself, but can be seen in The Telegraph in the UK ;)

２つ目は同じ雑誌の中に掲載されている、イタリア トスカーナ地方の地図。イラストマップなので厳密性はそこそこ必要という程度なのですが、さすが旅行誌だけあって隠れスポットが多く複雑な作業になりました。楽しい感じがでていると嬉しいです♪

３つ目はイギリスの新聞に作ったものなので、自分ではまだ現物を確認していません…。
