I visited a primary school in Iwaki city over the weekend to participate in volunteer activities. It’s in one of the areas that were damaged by the earthquake and tsunami, and also within 30km from the spot where the nuclear accident occurred.

We had a lot of fun activities with kids such as wreath making, cake decoration, science experiments, open-air concert etc. I painted the roof of the mini Savignac gallery in the photo!

週末にいわき市久之浜にある小学校にボランティアに行ってきました。校舎と校庭を使った週末限定のイベントのお手伝いです。クリスマスリース作り、ケーキのデコレーション、理科の実験教室、屋外コンサートなど、子供たちが楽しめるように工夫された内容でした。かなり慌ただしかったですが、有意義な週末になりました。
