These are two examples from a series of illustration for a fiction I did a while ago for Woman’s Weekly. It was a little tricky as I needed to draw the borders to surround the edges but they had to be a part of illustration, not just a decoration. Good exercise.

描いたのは結構前なのですけど、イギリスの女性週刊誌 Woman’s Weekly の４回シリーズのフィクションに挿絵を描きました（これは、そのうちの２週分です）。イラストレーションの一部でありつつも四方を囲むように絵が必要という珍しいルールがあったり、ストーリーの内容と違う描写があってはいけなかったり（人物の容姿とか、パーティーのメニューとか、舞台がフランスなこととか）割と気を使う作業になりました。でもいい勉強になったと思います！
